Athlete Profile - Zach Webb

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Zach Webb. Zach will be a three year starter for the Metro Christian Academy Patriots on offense and a two year starter on defense during a time when we have had unprecedented team success. Zach has been a big part of that success. Last year we successfully converted to the 3-4 defense largely because of Zach’s ability to penetrate and disrupt the offense’s running schemes from the “nose guard” position. The result of the transition has been great success. We went 12-1 last year and Zach had 94 tackles, 11 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries.

In addition to his play on the field, his character has been exemplary. He’s been a “yes sir, no sir” kid who grasps offensive and defensive schemes and has been a vocal leader for his peers. He’s made good grades and has a good report with his teachers as well. I’m very confident in his ability to succeed both on and off the field at the collegiate level. In addition, I believe he can be successful under a variety coaching styles and philosophies.

I believe in Zach’s ability to get the job done physically, but I also believe that he should be recruited because of who he is as a person.
